how i know my team is great
For a long time, the Spaceship crew have been asking me for a ping pong table. And for a long time I said no (we already have foosball and video games galore.) When I was approached about it recently, I voiced my usual concerns - noise, self-regulation, space issues - and asked for a proposal to address them if I was even going to consider it. What I got back was pure Big Spaceship...

We used to have a table tennis table at work too. It was amazing how people were able to tune out the noise. In fact the smooth, rhythmic, repetition of 'ping'... 'pong'..'ping'...PONG!' made everyone happier.Did it make us more productive? Who cares?? We had a ball!
